OneYukti vs Microsoft Dynamics 365: per user and per module, or one price per company

Dynamics 365 is a proven enterprise platform with Copilot AI, licensed per user and per module. OneYukti is one price per company per year with every app in, open source, and AI on your own key. Here is an honest comparison.

HomeOneYukti vs Dynamics 365
The Short Version

If you're in a Microsoft shop weighing Dynamics 365 but watching per-user costs climb with every module you add, this comparison is for you.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an enterprise powerhouse backed by one of the largest technology companies in the world. Its Copilot AI integration is deep, its partner network is massive, and its integration with the Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365, Teams, Azure, Power BI) is unmatched. Yukti takes a fundamentally different approach: open source, one price per company per year, AI on your own key, and deployment on any infrastructure. If you are already in the Microsoft ecosystem and want tight integration with the tools your team uses daily, Dynamics 365 is hard to beat. If you want full control over your code, your AI provider, and your deployment, Yukti offers freedom that a proprietary platform cannot.

Choose Yukti if...

  • You want full source code access and the freedom to modify every aspect of your ERP

  • You want one price per company per year instead of per-user licensing that climbs with every advanced module
  • You need to deploy on any infrastructure, not just Azure

  • You want Copilot AI that natively integrates with Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft tools your team uses daily
  • You need a global partner network with thousands of certified implementation partners
  • You are a large enterprise that requires multi-subsidiary, multi-currency operations at global scale
Detailed Analysis

Dimension-by-Dimension Breakdown

AI Architecture

Microsoft has invested heavily in AI across Dynamics 365. Copilot is integrated into Sales (email drafting, meeting recaps, deal insights), Customer Service (case summaries, knowledge article generation), Finance (budget variance analysis), and Supply Chain Management (predictive demand planning). The 2026 Wave 1 release introduces agentic AI capabilities with autonomous decision-making across modules.

This is genuinely impressive. Microsoft's scale and Azure OpenAI infrastructure mean Copilot has access to significant compute resources and a fast iteration cycle.

The tradeoff is lock-in. Dynamics 365 AI runs on Azure OpenAI, and every Copilot prompt and response is sent to that Azure OpenAI Service endpoint, per Microsoft's own documentation. The model is Microsoft's choice. In Yukti, AI is one feature of the system, included in every paid plan, and it runs on your own key, so you choose the model. For organizations with data sovereignty requirements, cost sensitivity around AI compute, or preferences for specific model providers, this flexibility is the deciding factor.

Microsoft's list prices are on its own pricing pages, linked below; no Microsoft page is saved in our evidence set, so this page reproduces no Microsoft figure. Yukti's prices are the published price list.

Dynamics 365 is licensed per user per month and priced by module. Business Central covers smaller teams, in Essentials and Premium editions, per Microsoft's Business Central pricing page. The enterprise Finance and Supply Chain Management modules are licensed separately per user, listed on Microsoft's Dynamics 365 pricing overview. The attach licensing model reduces the price of subsequent apps, but the first app carries the full price.

For a 50-user team the licence bill is 50 seats of whichever edition and modules you pick, before a partner-quoted implementation. Take Microsoft's current per-user rate, multiply by your headcount, and put that next to one Yukti number.

OneYukti Community is free. A 50-user team sits in the 75-user band at $5,400 a year, $450 a month, every app in, and setup is onboarding hours at one published rate, fixed once scoped. The question is whether the Microsoft ecosystem integration and enterprise compliance capabilities justify the difference for your specific situation.

Open Source vs. Proprietary

This is the fundamental philosophical difference. Dynamics 365 is proprietary software. You cannot see the source code, modify core behavior, or audit security at the code level. Customization happens through Power Platform, extensions, and ISV solutions. Microsoft controls the roadmap, the pricing, and the platform direction.

Yukti's core is open source under LGPL-3.0 and free to self-host as OneYukti Community; the paid apps are licensed for the term with full source code access. You can read the code, modify it, fork the core and deploy on your own terms. This matters for organizations that require code auditing for compliance, want to avoid vendor lock-in, or need to make deep modifications that go beyond what extension frameworks allow.

Ecosystem and Integration

If your organization runs on Microsoft, Dynamics 365 integration is seamless. Outlook integration means CRM activities sync with email. Teams integration puts ERP data in your collaboration tools. Power BI provides analytics without data export. Excel and Word work natively with business documents. LinkedIn Sales Navigator connects social selling to CRM.

This ecosystem lock-in is both the strength and the limitation. It works exceptionally well within the Microsoft world and creates friction when you need to integrate with non-Microsoft tools. Yukti does not have this ecosystem depth but also does not force you into a single vendor's technology stack for every business function.

Deployment Flexibility

Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management are Azure-only. Business Central offers both cloud and on-premise options, but the on-premise version has fewer features and a longer update cycle. Microsoft is clearly steering customers toward Azure.

Yukti deploys anywhere: AWS, GCP, Azure, bare metal, your own data center, or any hosting provider. For organizations with multi-cloud strategies, specific data residency requirements, or preferences for non-Microsoft infrastructure, this flexibility matters.
